Classic Wire & Cable is seeking an experienced District Sales Representative (DSR). The DSR is responsible for driving sales growth and market share by building strong relationships with electrical distributors and supporting our manufacturer representative agencies. As the local face of Classic Wire and Cable in Texas, this individual will actively promote the brand, identify new business opportunities, and support ongoing initiatives to strengthen our position in the wire and cable market.
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and rep agencies
- Represent Classic Wire at trade shows, open houses, grand openings, and key events
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and daily sales calls
- Conduct joint sales visits with manufacturer reps to enhance local engagement
- Lead product training sessions for distributors, contractors, and reps
- Gather and report competitive intelligence and market trends to the Regional Sales Manager
- Submit weekly itineraries and activity reports
- Collaborate closely with inside sales for quotations and customer service support
- Assist the national inside sales team as needed
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (minimum 60%)

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical distribution or wire and cable sales
- Familiarity with the Texas market and key distributor networks
- Proven ability to work independently and drive measurable sales results
- Experience using CRM tools and sales reporting systems
