Inside Sales Representative

Job Overview:

Be the focal person for Classic Wire for a select group of manufacturer sales representatives (sales reps), supporting, training, and assisting them in developing sales for the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing communication with our customers and sales reps through, but not limited to, direct phone calls to promote Classic Wire
  • Develop strong relationships with our sales reps, electrical distributers and select House or direct accounts
  • Daily communication with sales reps and customers
  • Cold Calling select distributors to promote Classic and support local sales rep
  • Develop requested quotations
  • Customer service including order status, quote follow up, inventory checks, etc
  • Assist Regional and Sales Managers in support of quotations and customer service
  • Obtain and report all competitive information / pricing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • D365 Capability; use of the ERP system as part of the everyday job
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Team members
  • Effective communication, negotiation, customer service and relationship skills

Assistant Manager

Job Overview:

CWC seeks an Assistant Manager (AM) to bring energy, efficiency, and operational ability to its warehouse in Mechanicsburg, PA. The AM will play a key role in the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including supervision of staff, resolution of any challenges, and focus on the productivity of the site. This internal leader will have an eye on key performance indicators, while tending to the team and serving as a role model.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The AM will execute company guidelines and directives, while promoting core values and improving operational functions. This includes a heavy focus on member satisfaction, safety, quality, and employee relations
  • The AM will lead team in a manner that motivates the team to excel in customer service and to consistently outperform the competition
  • The AM will continuously improve process, fulfillment, and shipment of customer orders.
  • Lead by example; keep a positive and optimistic demeanor and encourage the team to do the same.

  • Evaluate supplies for adequate levels, pallets, and shrink wrap.
  • Coordinate and help with emergency shipments.
  • Set the example in communication and appearance for the facility staff.
  • Coordinate daily hours with Warehouse Manager to monitor the facility from the beginning to the end of the day.
  • Ability to load trucks and pull orders when necessary.
  • Point of contact for all project related issues/questions.
  • Work closely with Order Expediter to ensure orders are picked up and shipped in accordance with ship dates.
  • Facilitate safe operations by implementing and enforcing proper warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Ensure effective and safe use of all warehouse machinery.
  • Serve as trusted “Keeper of the Keys,” with significant lock-up and inventory duties.
  • Assist with other activities specified by the Warehouse Manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or College Degree, preferably in a business related major

Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:

CWC seeks a focused Logistics Coordinator (LC) to supervise and process outbound freight (LTL/DV/FB). This does not include any forklift operation or loading/unloading of material of any kind. The ideal candidate will have eight years’ experience working with warehousing, supply chain, transportation, and product distribution teams. The LC will implement team cost-cutting, problem-solving and efficiency measures. The LC will collaborate with others to achieve optimal productivity on the Logistics Team and will operate out of our offices in Mechanicsburg, PA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and direct all outbound LTL and truckload freight from warehouse
  • Develop strong business relationships with carriers, brokers, key customers, and sales reps
  • Build and develop processes, techniques, and strategies to improve workflow
  • Drive cost saving initiatives to align with company goals
  • Ensure logistics services comply with all existing regulations (Dept of Transportation, US/International)
  • Participate in daily call(s) with warehouse and sales teams
  • Conduct periodic freight analysis to identify improvement opportunities
  • Carrier management: determine most efficient and economical routing for outbound shipments; handle carrier negotiations
  • Create BOL, and Packing Lists
  • Track all outbound orders
  • Work closely with Order Expeditor to ensure all orders are prepped and staged as scheduled
  • Monitor and keep record of all outbound freight (# of orders, weight)
  • Ensure all outbound freight is properly weighed and priced
  • Communicate with sales on necessary hot outbound items
  • Participate in interviews to hire new department personnel
  • Maintain facility security integrity, including setting alarms, and locking doors when facility is not operational
  • Focus on professional development; attend training related to position and to skill enhancement
  • Assist in any other projects that may arise
  • Assist senior leaders and the Logistics Supervisor with additional tasks and duties, as needed
